Three terrorists attacked the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey on Tuesday, leaving at least 41 people dead and 239 injured.

Among the dead were 10 foreigners and 3 dual nationals. Nearly half of those injured have already been discharged from the hospital.

"I think the most casualties were definitely in the arrival hall,” Thomas Kemper, who witnessed the attack, told CNN in an interview this morning.

Nobody has taken credit for the terror act, but Turkish officials and intelligence analysts say signs point to ISIS.

Armed with AK-47 rifles, the attackers arrived in a cab right before opening fire and setting off three explosions, two of which occurred at the international terminal. The third terrorist was found in a parking lot nearby.

“No matter where the terror comes from, our country is strong enough to fight against this terror. I call on every citizen to act in unity and stand by each other,” Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said in a press conference.

Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, which is the third busiest airport in Europe, reopened Wednesday morning.
