Dead on Arrival
Some have called the housing market the “dead spot” in the U.S. economy -- but a seller in Raleigh, North Carolina, seems to have taken the concept literally. Among photos of a typical living room and one-and-a-half baths, is a photo of, yes, a stained outline of a dead body. Yet it seems that the scare tactic actually worked—the home sold at the end of June–albeit at just over half of its original listing price.
