This could be every teenage boy’s dream job – getting paid to play video games. But it isn’t all fun, and competition is fierce. You’ll have to finish the games quickly, and write reports. Entry-level testers make about $30,000; the best testers and designers can earn in the six figures. Many of the specialists who create video games started off as professional video game testers. Designers often have a degree in graphic design or computer science.
