Whether it’s to break a world record or to create a piece of “artwork,” people have been using food in weird ways for centuries, creating everything from dresses and portraits to sculptures and landscapes.
Some are revolting, but most of them defy belief, like the Mount Rushmore sculpture made of nothing but beef jerky or the world’s largest cake that can serve 12,000 people.
One thing: These installations are so eye catching they present an ideal opportunity to promote a brand or a cause, whether it’s a charity, a brand or a store.
While these sculptures or other food art may not whet your appetite, they’ll certainly make you pause and say, “Wow.”
