Jennifer DePaul joined The Fiscal Times in its Washington Bureau as a reporter and editorial web producer in early 2010. She covered the debt ceiling crisis and continues to track deficit related stories. DePaul also writes about the U.S. housing market, consumer confidence and unemployment. She previously worked at the CBS affiliate in Boston as an Assignment Editor and was a correspondent for several New Hampshire newspapers including the Union Leader. DePaul was also part-time on-air disc jockey at a local radio station in southern New Hampshire for three years. She is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University and received an MA in International Journalism from Cardiff University. DePaul is a lifelong vegetarian and enjoys trying new recipes. She loves travelling, wine and dreams of owning a vineyard in Italy one day.
