Secretary of Agriculture-Tom Vilsack
The former Iowa governor plans to stay on at the Department of Agriculture for the immediate future. Vilsack is a strong proponent of renewable energy and developing the country’s alternative fuel industry. Like the president, he is a staunch advocate of ethanol and other bio-fuels as an opportunity to reduce the nation’s reliance on foreign oil.
