Smarter Approach to Nuclear Expenditures (SANE) Act would scale down our nuclear weapon arsenal to a size more appropriate to meet 21st-century security threats. It makes strategic reductions to specific nuclear weapons and related programs, such as superfluous nuclear submarines, and postpones the development of nuclear weapon delivery systems.
