8.7% increase in home prices
The number of homes on the market in Northwest Washington shrunk considerably, pushing prices higher. New listings were down 4.6 percent versus a year ago in November, while the number of active listings fell 26.5 percent from last year. Pending homes sales jumped 10 percent in November compared with a year ago, while closed sales were up 2.2 percent.
