President Trump’s military parade this fall will cost about $12 million, according to estimates provided by Pentagon officials Wednesday.
The "military-themed Veterans Day Parade" is still in the planning stages, but is expected to occur on November 10, a day before the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
The cost comes in on the low side of earlier estimates, which ran as high as $50 million. As Fox News and other outlets pointed out, the $12 million figure is close to the $14 million the Pentagon said it would save from Trump’s cancellation of the military exercises with South Korea this summer — an amount that Trump called “tremendously expensive.”
