The Hateful 8 (Nov 13th)
Despite initially threatening to shelve the film after a script leak, Quinten Tarantino has proceeded to bring his long rumored “Hateful 8” to screen. Adding Channing Tatum to a cast list that includes Tarantino favorites Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell and of course Samuel L. Jackson, the film also represents a return to a story of honor (and dishonor) among thieves that Tarantino does so well. It sounds like “Reservoir Dogs” in the old west. That could be awesome, or that could be the same old shtick we’ve seen a thousand times since; but with Tarantino, you get the sense that it will at least be interesting.
