Spectre (November 6th)
Martin Campbell’s “Casino Royale” is, along with “Batman Begins,” largely credited with bringing the “gritty reboot” into vogue. Since then the Bond series has made one backwards step into camp, before going in a surprisingly artistic direction with Sam Medes Skyfall. Mendes is back in the saddle with “Spectre,” a name that will certainly send a chill down the spine of Bond fans. With Christoph Waltz signed on to play “Not-Blofeld” and “Sherlock’s” brilliantly unhinged Moriarty Andrew Scott added to the cast, this could be the perfect brainy-junk food the Bond series requires.
