Jurassic World (June 12th)
When Michael Crichton’s “Jurassic Park” came out in 1990, it was a semi-plausible bit of science fiction for the nerdy crowd. It was the perfect fodder for a Steven Spielberg film.
Now in 2015, the science is entirely plausible to the point where I would be shocked if there WAS NOT a dinosaur in a lab somewhere. It makes sense to revisit this concept but let’s please hold the central character (Jeff Goldblum was a distant second to a T-rex). Much like the “Terminator,” whether it goes anywhere good remains to be seen.
