The Coen brothers loom large over Hollywood as some of the most respected writers and directors in the business. If anyone is capable of creating success out of idiosyncratic original material, it’s these guys. Throw in a star-studded cast and an old Hollywood setting and you’ve got a film the purists will be lining up to see.
